Lion Rock series includes many surreal & sensuous elements that capture the mood and feelings of the artist during the creation process. Chan's paintings make use of striking colors and  embedded objects as a symbolic language to communicate with viewers.  Chan attempts to capture not just the scenic view but also the mood and spirit of the people.
